It is also called paper filigree and has been popular since the 15th century. This paper art has experienced a resurgence in popularity during the last couple of years.

She is self taught quilling and Calligraphy artist. Currently she is pursuing masters in Mathematics from Miranda House, Delhi University. She has successfully taken 25+ workshops with a total of 250+ students in the past few months. Apart from quilling and calligraphy she has tried her hands on several other artforms like acrylic pouring, painting, card making, dreamcatcher, mandalas etc. and currently she is practicing dip pen Calligraphy, Devanagari and digital art.

Quilling is a very versatile art form and possibilities are endless. One can make wall pieces, nameplates, portraits, cards, utilities, 3D dolls and jewellery after learning quilling.
