About the Artform

Madhubani is an ancient folk art from the north of India . Intricate line work, vibrant colours and eye catching motifs makes this art form a treat for the eyes .

About the Session

In this session, you will learn about making “thank you” cards, to express your gratitude for your loved ones in a special way. Using the motifs and line work commonly used in Madhubani art form will give it an ethnic look .

This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 8+).

Materials Required

  • Handmade paper/cartridge paper>200gsm
  • Thick drawing paper- sized 6x3 inches
  • Pencil
  • Eraser
  • Scale
  • Black fine liner
  • Acrylic or poster colours (optional)
