About the Artform

The word Mandala is a Sanskrit word, which means a discoid or a round object. This beautiful artform came into existence roughly around the 4th century BC. It was mainly created to teach young monks, concentration & patience. Some believe that mandalas represent the universe and us in their structure. Today, the art has evolved into various different forms.

This is a 'beginner-friendly session! (Age: 12+)

About the Session

In this session, you will learn to make a basic mandala grid and learn how to fill it with creative patterns. At the end of the session, you will have made a mini mandala with different intricate patterns on it.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session (Age 12+).

Materials Required

  • 2 A4 size cartridge papers
  • Pencil
  • Ruler
  • Eraser
  • Compass
  • Protractor
  • Fine liner pen (0.4,0.5 or 0.6)
  • Paper
