About the Artform

In this session, you will learn about Watercolor art, this dates from Stone Age cave painting when early Paleolithic man first painted pictures of animals and humans on their caves. The wet on wet technique is one of the most commonly used techniques in watercolor.
This is a 'beginner-friendly session! (Age: 12+)

About the Session

In this session, you will learn to create colorful and fruity Popsicles using watercolor. You will learn to use the wet on wet technique effectively and also how to lift paint to create subtle natural highlights.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session (Age 12+).

Materials Required

  • Pencil
  • Eraser
  • White gel pen
  • Watercolor paper - cold-pressed, min 200gsm
  • Watercolor tubes/cakes
  • Round brushes
  • Palette
  • Water jar
  • Tissue

She is a fine art student and a diploma holder in graphic design. She has been painting since the age of 12 and has tried her hand at multiple art forms. Her passion lies in teaching and sharing knowledge. Professionally, she is a swimming coach but her deep liking for art always brings her back to this field. At other times, she loves exploring the journey that photography and scuba diving have for her.
