Madhubani, which translates to "Forest of Honey", is an ancient Indian artform from Mithila, Bihar. The art is characterized by intricate geometric patterns painted using vibrant colors. In the olden days, these paintings were made using natural tools like sticks and twigs.

A self-taught Madhubani artist, Shamli Das has her own take on Madhubani, while maintaining the essence of the artform. The finesse, attention to detail and the happiness seen in her designs can mesmerize anyone. She frequently conducts Madhubani workshops for both adults and kids.

  • Handmade paper/ cartridge paper 300 gsm
  • Fevicryl acrylic colors (5-6 shades of their choice)
