  • Learn various techniques of marking according the design.
  • Understand how to select particular mirrors for design/how to create design according to the mirrors.

About the Artform

The art originates from the land of Kutch in the state of Gujarat. Lippan in local Gujarati means 'clay' or 'dung'. These materials keep their mud houses, also known as 'bhungas', cool during the hot summers. They decorate the outer walls with mud and mirror work. This art is known as Lippan Kaam or Chhittar Kaam.

Gouri Nargale

She is an artist by profession and loves teaching art. She gets her inspiration from nature and Indian culture and she channels this into her handcrafted products. She believes in spreading the happiness and positivity she gets when she draws and paints, with everyone.
