About the Artform

Watercolor art dates from Stone Age cave painting when early Paleolithic man first painted pictures of animals and humans on their caves using charcoal, ochre, and other natural pigments. It was later popularized in Egyptian art after the discovery of papyrus (paper).

About the Session
In this session, you will be creating a pretty watercolor floral heart illustration. Watercolor is one of the oldest art forms around. It's unpredictability & spontaneous nature, makes it a favorite of many artists.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session (Age 10+).

Materials Required

  • Water color paper (A5 size, minimum 200 GSM preferred)
  • Watercolor paints
  • Paint brushes (1 medium & 1 fine)
  • Jars of clean water
  • Pencil
  • Eraser
  • Few tissues papers
