One of the oldest Indian and still prevelant artforms, Warli has its origins in Maharastra. The art uses geometric shapes like circles, triangles and squares to create paintings that represent the life and beliefs of the Warli tribe. The art was used to decorate walls of house during special occasions in the olden days.
