About the Artform

The art of Acrylic paint can be traced back as far as 1934. Acrylic paint was first created by a German chemist called Otto Rohm who developed acrylic resin that transformed into paint. Knife painting is a technique where different shapes of knives are used to apply color on paper/ canvas. This is also known as Impasto, because of its thick consistency/ nature of application in making Abstracts, landscapes, florals, and many more.

About the Session

In this session, you will learn about the modern artform in a much more familiar way, starting with Understanding the palette knife, mixing paint on the palette, and techniques of creating some stunning effects in their painting. All of the mentioned will be taught in a way to provide you with a complete hands-on experience of the art form by the end of the workshop.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 10+).
