Full Replay of LIVE Workshop
About the Workshop
In this session, you will learn how to use stippling (dots) to give shading to an object. You will also learn to control the density of dots in order to give the object a more realistic look.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' workshop.
Stippling involves placing individual dots across a surface in a pattern that will create an artwork, especially when viewed from a distance. Basically, instead of drawing patterns & shapes directly, you compose them with tiny dots and shade it the same way to create the impression of depth. Stippling reduces negative space, which can make the surface appear more shadowy & textured to the viewer.
