About the Workshop
In this session, you will learn about how to create the letterform and maintain the negative space and make botanicals patterns around it. You will learn Creating the letter form , choosing a color palette and creating monochromes , botanical patterns of different shape, size and arrangements.
Negative lettering is a technique of omitting the negative space or the white space created by the letterform and working our way around it. It can be done on a variety of lettering styles including cursive scripts.

She is a self-taught calligraphy and hand-lettering artist from Kolkata. The city's rich literary heritage inspired her to pursue the art of writing in the form of handwritten letters and notes. She aims to bring out the essence of calligraphy, which might look luxurious, but is actually very simple. Now she has conducted lives sessions and over 100+ workshops both offline and online.
