Acrylic pouring is an abstract art form that started in the 1930s and is also said to be a predecessor to the modern artist Jackson Pollock’s style of movement art, action art, or drip art. It’s the process of layering up paints in a cup and pouring it over the canvas for unexpected and exciting results! Today, acrylic pouring has picked up popularity around the world. It's a vibrant play of colors and textures, its expressive style is therapeutic and perfect to capture emotions or to simply have fun!

Surekha Sundaram is an acrylic and watercolor artist, and a mindfulness practitioner. She conducts workshops in art, mindfulness, and also takes an interest in organizing art-based events like flea markets and exhibitions driven by the purpose of making art more accessible to everyone. Her first exhibition was on different forms of traditional Indian art in Paris while on an exchange programme.
