About the Artform
Realism is an art style that focuses on representing the subject truthfully, without adding fictitious elements or features. The Realist movement began in France, in the 1850s when Realist painters rejected the idea of Romanticism, which was widely prevalent in art and literature back then.
About the Session
In this session, you will learn about Realism and how to use charcoal and charred sticks of wood to draw hairstyles as realistic as possible. You will also be briefed about sketching tools, types of shading technique, value scale, and gradation scale required in portraiture.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 12+).
