About the Workshop

The study of anatomy became important ever since man started to study medicine systematically. It was needed to perform surgeries and operations accurately. Anatomy became more than just a scientific field when Da Vinci popularized it with his 'The Vitruvian Man'. The art of drawing human bodies and figures is vast and is used by animators, cartoonists and illustrators. It teaches you to draw a human figure keeping in mind, the structures and proportions. It also brings the drawings and sketches to life.

She is a freelance illustrator who works out of her Bangalore studio. Her style is very whimsical, playful and calming. She loves to tell her stories through art. Her Instagram is an entertaining place filled with characters and animals, that all feel like they have their own story behind them. Join her as she will take you to a magical artistic journey.

Materials Required

  • 20-30 sheets of normal printer paper- preferably printed with a grid. You will receive a grid file post registration please print a black and white, back to back copy of this on atleast 20 pages
  • Pencil and eraser (HB preferable)
  • 5- 6 Tracing papers
  • Compass (optional)
  • Black sketch pen/ brush pen/ ink Pen/ ball pen (Optional)
  • You can use a grid paper with a light grid/ make your own grid of 20cm square instead of printing it
