About the Artform

Aesthetic Miniature painting, also called limning, small, finely wrought portrait paintings, with various themes, for example, Krishan Lila (sports of Krishna), Raga Raginis (Musical melodies), Nayika Bheda (different classes of heroines on which Sanskrit and Hindu writers on love, classified women), Ritu Chitra (seasons), Panchatantra are some of the Indian themes.

About the Session

In this session, you will learn about Aesthetic Miniature painting, this will be a painting which looks like Kodiak style, here the artist will be introduced to miniature painting from the basics and starting with understanding on watercolor and line art illustration and by the end of the workshop, you have a good understanding of the art form.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 10+).
