About the Artform
Hamsa is a palm-shaped amulet that is known as the protector against the evil eye and all negative energies. Hamsa can signify benevolence, abundance, strength, and bringer of positivity. It has been a symbol used in different cultures and is known by different names like Palm of Buddha, Palm of Mary, Hand of Miriam, and Hand of Fatima. It is a protective symbol and is an intricate art form that brings out your creativity even while making it. You can hang a hamsa in your house, room as well as gift it to someone.
About the Session
In this session, the artist will teach you the age-old art form in a completely new and innovative way where you will be taught about it right from the basics, starting with the introduction the new art form, wall decor and also about ancient cultures and symbols and most importantly upcycling life and recycling waste. All of the mentioned will be taught in a way to provide you with a complete hands-on experience of the art form by the end of the workshop.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 10+).
