About the Workshop
In this workshop, you will be creating a painting that depicts the interdependency of life in water and land. Get a chance to acquaint yourself to the history of this artform while understanding how to make Gond motifs and use them in a composition. Gond painting is a form of tribal painting that is practiced by one of the largest tribes in India with whom it shares its name. While Gond paintings are considered to be predominantly from Madhya Pradesh, it is also quite common in Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Odisha.

Apart from having a keen interest in traditional arts, she is also inclined towards various crafts and extensively works with crepe paper and dreamcatchers.
