About the Artform

Geodes are geological formations within volcanic rocks, that contain colorful mineral matter inside. When the rocks are cracked or sliced open, their stunning crystals are revealed. A resin geode is not, of course, a real geode. It’s an artistic version of a geode made with resin, a chemical compound that dries with a hard and shiny finish. You can add colors, glitter, sparkles, crystals (real or artificial), and metallic paint to your resin for added effects.

She has always been interested in art since her childhood and being an army wife she has travelled to many remote areas in India. Throughout all the travelling, the only thing she could take along is her love for creating art. She believes it's important to understand resin practically and make a lot of mistakes since that’s the only way to learn what not to do the next time around. This is something she has told all her 1000+ students!
