About the Workshop
A mandala is a complex abstract design that is usually circular in shape. The word 'mandala' translates to circle in the Sanskrit language. They contain different geometric motifs and shapes that are made with a lot of precision. These designs also hold a great deal of symbolism in Hindu and Buddhist cultures.
In this workshop you will get a brief history of Mandalas and their therapeutic benefits, learn to make Mandalas on wood and small surfaces, convert the Mandalas into Rakhis, get access to tips and tricks to perfect intricate Mandala designs

A former faculty at Whistling Woods International, a film school in Mumbai, she launched UrbanKala in 2012 due to her passion for art and creativity.
She has also previously worked at VFX and animation studios in Bangalore and Mumbai.
