About the Artform
Watercolor painting is a method of painting where the pigment is dissolved in water. These paintings are also known as Aquarelle paintings in French. Using watercolors, your range expands more than any other printing method. This type of painting is extremely old, dating perhaps to the cave paintings of paleolithic Europe, and has been used for manuscript illustration since at least Egyptian times but especially in the European Middle Ages.
About the Session
In this session, the artist will teach you the age-old art form in a completely new and innovative way where you will be taught about it right from the basics, starting with an introduction to watercolor painting and color palette along with this creating an artwork in the session from some of the very common materials. All of the mentioned will be taught in a way to provide you with a complete hands-on experience of the art form by the end of the workshop.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 10+).
