About the Artform

A mandala is a complex abstract design usually circular in shape. The word 'mandala' translates to circle in the Sanskrit language. They contain different geometric motifs and shapes that are made with a lot of precision. These designs also hold a great deal of symbolism in Hindu and Buddhist cultures. The intricate patterns relax the mind and bring peace.

About the Session

In this session, the artist will teach you the age-old art form in a completely new and innovative way where you will be taught about it right from the basics, starting with an introduction to mandala making, how to make a fun background, drawing patterns, and techniques to form an initial letter mandala. All of the mentioned will be taught in a way to provide you with a complete hands-on experience of the art form by the end of the workshop.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 8+).
