About the Artform
Watercolor art dates from Stone Age cave painting when early Paleolithic man first painted pictures of animals and humans in their caves using charcoal, ochre, and other natural pigments. It was later popularized in Egyptian art after the discovery of papyrus (paper).
About the Session
In this session, you will learn about the art form starting with an introduction to the basics of watercolor painting and painting a seascape from an aerial point of view. You will learn about the Basic properties of watercolor, What paper to use to get the best out of your paints, Blending, (wet on wet and wet on dry), Dry Brushing, Stippling, and Aerial seascape.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 13+).

She is a self-taught artist and calligrapher from Kolkata who loves to work with various mediums. However, her areas of expertise are mandalas and acrylic painting. Art gives her joy that very few other things can bring and her wish is to spread this happiness among people. She has 3 years of experience and has hosted several workshops and live sessions. She also makes customised artworks.
