About the Artform

Watercolor art dates from Stone Age cave painting when early Paleolithic man first painted pictures of animals and humans in their caves using charcoal, ochre, and other natural pigments. It was later popularized in Egyptian art after the discovery of papyrus (paper).

About the Session

In this session, you will learn about painting roses with watercolor. You will learn about the Basics of Watercolor, blending techniques, Roses & composition, and leaves formation.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 10+).

Her fascination towards colors and fabrics got her into fashion design as a profession. She then worked with designers, fashion brands and corporates. However, her love and passion for painting inspired her to pursue art and exhibit her work at renowned art galleries. She loves creating textures and amalgamating paintings with fashion and bright colors.

Materials Required

  • Watercolors. (Tubes/ pan any)
  • Brushes- round 0/2/4
  • Brushes - dagger brush if available
  • Watercolor paper. If not available then sketchbook.
  • Rough cloth & water bowl
  • Pencil, rubber
