About the Artform
A mandala is a complex abstract design usually circular in shape. The word 'mandala' translates to circle in the Sanskrit language. They contain different geometric motifs and shapes that are made with a lot of precision. These designs also hold a great deal of symbolism in Hindu and Buddhist cultures. The intricate patterns relax the mind and bring peace.
About the Session
In this session, you will learn about the art form, the artist will teach you about it right from basics and take you through the concepts of Grid formation, designing patterns, infusing patterns with the mandala, how to keep your mandalas neat and aesthetic.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 8+).
