About the Artform

A mandala is an abstract design that is usually circular. The word 'mandala' translates to a circle in the Sanskrit language. They contain different geometric motifs and shapes that are made with a lot of precision. These designs also hold a great deal of symbolism in Hindu and Buddhist cultures. Coloring mandalas allows the brain to enter a peaceful state and to be focused on filling in the geometrical shapes instead of thinking about their worries. 

About the Session

In this session, you will learn about the basics of Mandala Art along with drawing grids and Border Layout and Mandala Grids with Simple and Intricate Fillers.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 10+).
