About the Artform
A mandala is a symbolic diagram used in the performance of sacred rites and as an instrument of meditation. Creating mandalas makes you calm and focused and acts as a mood booster. Gouache is a water-based paint with very smooth application and looks matte when dry. It works as Watercolours but is much more opaque.
About the Session
In this session, you will learn about the modern art form in a much more familiar way, starting with an introduction to Mandalas and Gouache colors. Then you will be taught about making the floral patterns with gouache colors and later we will make the mandala designs on the artwork. All of the mentioned will be taught in a way to provide you with a complete hands-on experience of the art form by the end of the workshop.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 13+).
