About the Artform

Puppetry is a form of theatre or performance that involves the manipulation of puppets – inanimate objects, often resembling some type of human or animal figure, that are animated or manipulated by a human. A hand puppet or glove puppet is controlled by one hand which occupies the interior of the puppet and moves the puppet around.

About the Session

In this session, you will learn about basic techniques of puppet making, make a simple hand puppet using paper, and use your creativity to make more hand puppets.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 15+).
