About the Workshop
Madhubani, which literally translates to "Forest of honey", is an Indian artform that originated in the Mithila region of Bihar. These paintings are often characterized by complex geometrical patterns and vibrant colours. They are well known for representing ritual content and are mostly made using organic items such as natural colours, twigs, sticks etc. This art style that you'll learn employs rich Madhubani folk art motifs and typesets it into monograms.
