About the Artform
Madhubani painting or Mithila painting is an Indian folk art form of Bihar. The painting is made using bright colours or ink drawings. Usually the subject of these art form is festivals, animal motifs or depiction of gods and goddess.
About the Session
In this session, you will learn about the basic patterns and motifs of madhubani art and will be painting with a black and white ink to make an elephant pattern madhubani style.
This is a 'beginner-friendly'session. (Age: 10+).
