About the Artform
Watercolor art dates from Stone Age cave painting when early Paleolithic man first painted pictures of animals and humans in their caves using charcoal, ochre, and other natural pigments. It was later popularized in Egyptian art after the discovery of papyrus (paper).
About the Session
In this session, you will learn about the age-old art form in a much more familiar way, starting with an introduction to painting delicate Lilly of the Valley flowers in watercolor, the basics of watercolors, an introduction to watercolor florals, and a technique to paint white florals. All of the mentioned will be taught in a way to provide you with a complete hands-on experience of the art form by the end of the workshop.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 9+).
