About the Artform
Realism is an art style that focuses on making pieces look as realistic and true-to-life as possible. While the subjects may sometimes appear somewhat stylized, realism seeks to present subjects as they look in real life. In this workshop, we would utilize a mixture of the two mediums, Charcoal and Graphite, to make hyper-realistic artwork resembling a high-resolution photograph.
About the Session
In this session, you will learn about realism and ways to conceptualize different shading techniques, in depth understanding of proportion and form, improved pencil shading and blending techniques The artist will teach you methods and techniques through which you will be able to add intricate detailing to breathe life into the sketch.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 10+).

She is a charcoal and graphite sketch artist from Siliguri, West Bengal. She specializes in making hyper realistic portraits with the combination of both graphite and charcoal as art mediums. She has conducted diverse online and offline sessions related to the artform to spread her knowledge and skills and has conducted 50+ workshops and taught over 1000 participants across the globe in the process.
