About the Artform

Floral Drawing- Floral illustration differ from person to person, each one have their own style of drawing and it developes with time. Floral illustration can be used any where as a piece of art and can be digitze and used as a print on any surfaces like textile, wallpaper, stationeries, clothing etc.

About the Session

In this session, you will learn about floral composition and how to draw a individual flower and then compositions of flowers. If you wish you can choose other elements for your composition. You will learn how to break down a complicated flowers into simple shape and then you can easily built up the shape of flower. You will also learn about the roles of light and shadow while sketching and how they enhance your artwork if used correctly. I will also share some tips and ticks to find your own Illustration style.

This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 16+).

She is a freelance Surface pattern designer and Illustrator based in India. In 2019, she graduated from NIFT as Bachelor of Design. She has worked as a full time Floral product designer and started to illustrate them and then finally started The creativestrokes in 2020. She loves floral and her illustrations and prints are mostly inspired by flora and fauna. She also works as a full time Interior Stylist.
