About the Artform

Watercolor art dates from Stone Age cave painting when early Paleolithic man first painted pictures of animals and humans on their caves using charcoal, ochre, and other natural pigments. It was later popularized in Egyptian art after the discovery of papyrus (paper). 

About the Session

In this session, you will learn about some basic strokes of creating flowers. Participants will learn how to create basic brushstrokes & shapes using the simple pressure & one stroke technique. Create beautiful flowers in the most simplified ways! This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 12+).

Nilofer is a Watercolour artist, and an educator. She has been practising since 2017, Flowers being her comfort and that’s how she stumbled upon loose floral techniques and fell instantly in love.
She has a deep love for watercolours, the flow, freedom, the after effect and the soft touch of this medium is like Mozart's music to her. In these past two years, her work has been exhibited in various International art galleries & museums. In December 2021, her work was listed in the Top World 200 Merit List in International Watercolor Masters Society, UK.
