About the Artform

Brush lettering is a style of writing similar to calligraphy. With each letter, heavy pressure is applied on the downward stroke and light pressure is applied with every upward stroke. Because of the use of pressure and the appearance of the letters, brush lettering is commonly known as modern calligraphy.

About the Session

In this session, you will learn about the understanding between Modern Calligraphy and Traditional Calligraphy. The artist will be sharing with you a demo of the difference between Traditional and Modern Calligraphy. And Few Basic Pointers on how one can start Calligraphy with basic tools such as Pencil.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 12+).
