About the Artform

In this session, you will learn about Devnagari, it is the Calligraphy Script for the Hindi language. We will be using a broad tip brush pen for this artform.
This is a 'beginner-friendly session! (Age: 8+)

In this session, you will be introduced you to Devnagari Script along with that understanding of including but not limited to the tools used, basic strokes and the fundamental rules. The artist will teach you about all the pens, inks usage, fundamental rules, techniques of strokes.

She is self taught quilling and Calligraphy artist. Currently she is pursuing masters in Mathematics from Miranda House, Delhi University. She has successfully taken 25+ workshops with a total of 250+ students in the past few months. Apart from quilling and calligraphy she has tried her hands on several other artforms like acrylic pouring, painting, card making, dreamcatcher, mandalas etc. and currently she is practicing dip pen Calligraphy, Devanagari and digital art.

  • Graph paper/ notebook with squares/ Ruled notebook
  • Arul's devnagari pen + ink / chisel tip markers
  • Basic stationary (pencil, eraser, scale)
  • Protector/ D- scale
