About the Artform
Colored pencils are a wonderfully dynamic art medium that are popular among kids, artist and hobbyists alike because they’re so easy to use. Plus, they’re a lot cleaner and require almost no set-up compared to most other art mediums.
About the Session
In this session, you will learn about basic colored pencil techniques, understand techniques such as- stippling, hatching, cross-hatching, back and forth stroke, and scumbling and make a colorful drawing of a Monarch Butterfly.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 15+).
About the Artist

She is an art educator and art therapist by profession. Having obtained a Master's degree in Visual Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts, M. S. University of Baroda, she has had over 9 years of experience in using art as a tool to improve one's life. She has conducted several workshops and therapy sessions with corporate giants like Google India, Chumbak and BYJU'S. She is also the co-founder of Studio Printmaking and has been awarded the title of 'Best Emerging Artist' by Amity Foundation.
