About the Artform

Fabric Painting is an age-old art form. Fabric painting is a technique used by artists to create or enhance their designs on quilts, dresses, bags, etc. Fabric can be wet or dry when painted each will yield different results. The type of paints also varies from opaque to translucent as well as shimmers. Techniques and tools can vary from very simple to incredibly complex designs

About the Session

In this session, you will learn about the modern art form in a much more familiar way, starting with an introduction to The basics of fabric painting on a tote bag, How to blend paints on fabric, and How to preserve the paints on fabric All of the mentioned will be taught in a way to provide you with a complete hands-on experience of the art form by the end of the workshop.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 10+)
