About the Artform

A mandala is an abstract design that is usually circular. The word 'mandala' translates to a circle in the Sanskrit language. They contain different geometric motifs and shapes that are made with a lot of precision. These designs also hold a great deal of symbolism in Hindu and Buddhist cultures. Coloring mandalas allows the brain to enter a peaceful state and to be focused on filling in the geometrical shapes instead of thinking about their worries. 

About the Session

In this session, the artist will teach you the traditional art form in a completely new and innovative way where you will be taught about it right from the basics, starting with an introduction to the basics of Mandala Art along with drawing grids. . All of the mentioned will be taught in a way to provide you with a complete hands-on experience of the art form by the end of the workshop.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 10+).
