About the Artform
The mandala is a spiritual and ritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism, representing the universe. The circular design symbolizes the idea that life is never-ending and everything is connected. The mandala also represents a spiritual journey within the individual viewer.
About the Session
In this session, you will learn about the art form starting with an introduction to Mandala in a Butterfly, different patterns and designs used for fillers, Pens used for Making Mandala, and Ideas about how to create various types of Mandala.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 9+).

Urooj is from Bombay and is a self-taught artist and a Teacher Educator. She conducts art workshops and paint parties for children and adults. Art has been her passion since childhood and she considers herself lucky that she's pursuing it.
