About the Artform
Brush Lettering is the art of drawing the letters of the English alphabet by applying thick and thin strokes of a brush tip. The contrast of these thick and thin strokes is the essence of this popular style of brush lettering.
About the Session
In this session, the artist will teach you the age-old art form in a completely new and innovative way where you will be taught about it right from the basics, starting with an introduction modern brush lettering, basic strokes, lower case letters, uppercase letters, connecting the letters, word formation, and quote composition. All of the mentioned will be taught in a way to provide you with a complete hands-on experience of the art form by the end of the workshop.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 8+).

Soundarya is an artist and a calligrapher based in Pune. She has been practicing Calligraphy for 6 years and started conducting classes and workshops last year. She absolutely loves what she does and enjoys lettering, creating alphabets and playing and experimenting with art.
