About the Artform
Hand Lettering is the art of drawing and creating decorative letters with basic tools such as a pencil or a pen. The art allows for more freedom in the interpretation of letters and fonts and employs the use of different strokes, designs, and letter-drawing styles to create unique artistic pieces with language at the center.
About the Session
In this session, you will learn about two basic hand lettering styles, create a hand lettered piece from scratch and design your final quote and add simple decorative elements to enhance the final artwork

She is a self-taught calligraphy and hand-lettering artist from Kolkata. The city's rich literary heritage inspired her to pursue the art of writing in the form of handwritten letters and notes. She aims to bring out the essence of calligraphy, which might look luxurious, but is actually very simple. Now she has conducted lives sessions and over 100+ workshops both offline and online.
