About the Artform
Candle making is a very vast art form which involves making candles using different kinds of waxes. Creative designs, pillar candles, and candles in various types of containers are multiple styles that can be created. Candle making has many different techniques that can be used to create these different styles. Candle making is a very age-old art form that has been practiced far and wide.
About the Session
In this session, you will learn about the modern art form in a much more familiar way, starting with an introduction to different kinds of pillar candles using different kinds of candle wax, wicks, materials used to make candles, and a wax melting demo. All of the mentioned will be taught in a way to provide you with a complete hands-on experience of the art form by the end of the workshop.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 8+).
