About the Artform
A mandala is a complex abstract design usually circular in shape. The word 'mandala' translates to circle in the Sanskrit language. They contain different geometric motifs and shapes that are made with a lot of precision. These designs also hold a great deal of symbolism in Hindu and Buddhist cultures. The intricate patterns relax the mind and bring peace.
About the Session
In this session, the artist will teach you about the artform right from basics starting with a brief about mandala, how to create an abstract background, how to infuse abstract art with the mandala, basic understanding of Mandala patterns, and ending with an interactive Q & A session.
This is a 'beginner-friendly' session. (Age: 12+).
