About the Artform

Dating back to around 1400 years, Gond art is practiced by the largest Adivasi community in India - the Gond tribe. Each Gond painting tells a story and is deeply rooted in the folktales and culture of the tribe. The art takes inspiration from nature and is made using fine lines and vivid colors.

How to get started?

• Download the PDF and print as many copies as you want.
• Use the outlined artworks to doodle and fill them in!
• Color and paint the pre-drawn artworks and experiment with different color combinations.
• Once you are confident, you can draw the Gond elements on your own using the sheets as your reference.
