Each alphabet (both lowercase and uppercase) is explained in detail by demonstrating the techniques and strokes used to form the letter using a brush.

About the Artform

Brush lettering is the art of creating letters with a brush, in this case, specifically a round/pointed brush. Pointed brushes can provide the contrast in stroke thickness needed to create beautiful lettering.

How to get started?

Buy this module.
Download the PDF and print it for better reference.
Use the space provided along each letter to perfect your strokes.
Once you are confident of using the techniques and strokes, you can start experimenting by trying to form words and then, sentences.

Materials Required

Brush pens (Tombow brand is one of the best. Search for Tombow 56621 Dual Brush Pen, N15 - Black, 1-Pack)
Printer paper
A ruler and pencil, if you need to draw guide lines.

Note: Get a bundle of paper, you’ll need quite a few because you’ll be experimenting till you get a feel for how the pen will respond to the pressure. And once you do that, you’ll need to spend time of getting the shapes right, it is all muscle memory.
